This Privacy Policy explains what personal information Get X Media (“we”, “us”, “our”) collects through this website, why we collect it, how we use and share it, how long we keep it, and the rights you have over it.

Who we are
Get X Media is a digital marketing agency. We are the data controller for personal information collected through this website. We serve clients across Canada, the United States, and Mexico.
What we collect
We keep data collection to the minimum needed to provide our services.
1. Information you give us through the free-audit form. When you request a free audit, we collect:
- your name,
- your email address, and
- your website address (domain).
2. Information collected automatically. Our hosting provider records standard server logs (IP address, browser/user-agent, requested URL, timestamp) for security and reliability. This site does not run third-party advertising pixels, analytics trackers, or session-recording tools, and it does not set non-essential cookies.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it for automated decisions that produce legal or similarly significant effects about you.
Automated / AI processing of your audit
To produce your audit, the website address you submit is sent to our audit service, which crawls your public website and uses automated and AI-assisted analysis to score it and generate a report. The report is emailed to you.
- Only the data needed to run the audit (your website address and contact email) is used for this purpose.
- Your submitted information is not used to train third-party AI models.
- If you would like details of the specific processors and models involved, or a copy of the relevant data-processing terms, contact privacy@getxmedia.com.
Who we share it with
We share personal information only with service providers (“processors”) who help us operate, under contract and only as needed:
- Email delivery (to send your audit report and our replies).
- Website hosting and CDN (to serve this site and store audit output).
- Our audit service (to crawl your site and generate the report).
Some of these providers operate in the United States; where data is transferred outside your country, we rely on appropriate safeguards (such as Standard Contractual Clauses or equivalent). A current list of processors is available on request.
How long we keep it
- Audit lead data (name, email, website): kept for up to 24 months from your last interaction, then deleted or anonymized, unless you become a client (in which case client-records retention applies).
- Generated audit reports: kept for up to 12 months to support follow-up.
- Server logs: kept for up to 90 days.
Confirm these periods with operations before launch.
Your rights
Depending on where you live (Canada/PIPEDA, the EU/UK GDPR, California/CCPA, or Mexico/LFPDPPP), you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or port your personal information, to withdraw consent, and to object to certain processing.
To exercise any of these rights, email privacy@getxmedia.com with the subject “Privacy Request.” We will respond within the timeframe required by your local law (generally within 30 days). You also have the right to complain to your local data-protection authority.
Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures (encryption in transit, access controls, hardened infrastructure) to protect personal information. To report a security issue, see /.well-known/security.txt or email security@getxmedia.com.
Children
This site is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 16.
Changes
We may update this policy; we will revise the “Last updated” date above and, for material changes, take additional steps where required by law.
